The Origin
The RootCode.Guide was created by Inga Priedīte and Markuss Brieze, who met in 2025 while studying technologies and startup business at StartSchool in Riga, Latvia. The program is built around developing real startup projects, and the RootCode.Guide emerged directly from this shared process of learning, experimenting, and building together.
The original idea came from Inga, a long-time Gene Keys practitioner and Gene Keys Guide. As the idea evolved, the team came together organically. Along the way, an unexpected synchronicity emerged: both co-founders independently practice Qigong.
Inga Priedīte is the conceptual lead behind the RootCode.Guide, combining a structured corporate background with long-term inner practices. The I Ching has been a quiet presence in her life since her teenage years, first encountered as a book that left a strong impression and a sense of fascination beyond intellectual understanding. She has practiced Qigong since 2004 and has been a Level 1 Zhong Yuan Qigong instructor since 2006, alongside studies in Vedic astrology and early immersion in Human Design. Her engagement with Human Design and Gene Keys unfolded over time, with Gene Keys becoming a later main focus in her ongoing self-inquiry.Her work is oriented toward clarity and grounded exploration.
Markuss Brieze brings a creative and spatial perspective to the project, with a background spanning architecture, graphic design, and photography. Driven by a deep curiosity about the nature of life and spirituality, his work is guided by the desire to build meaningful projects that uplift others. Markuss is passionate about leveraging AI and emerging technologies as tools to enlighten and connect the world. At the same time, he draws profound inspiration from the outdoors, believing that spending time in nature is essential for connecting with our inner selves. Ultimately, his purpose is to live a life rooted in love and appreciation for the people around him, shaping the visual identity of the RootCode.Guide with clarity, intention, and grounded coherence.
The intention behind the RootCode.Guide is to make the world a little better by creating thoughtful, well-made products that bring real value. We enjoy working on this project together and creating what we genuinely care about.
